Motorola to sell Network to Nokia Siemens

Motorola and Nokia Siemens Networks announced that Nokia will acquire certain networking business units from Motorola for $1.2 billion. Nokia will gain Motorola’s GSM, CDMA, WiMax and LTE Technologies, as well others. Motorola will hold onto its iDEN business, nearly all the patents related to is wireless network infrastructure business, and other assets. The two companies expect the acquisition to close by the end of the year
