Google Maps for Android Update

Google announced a new version of its Google Maps for Android, brining it to version 4.4. The version pulls out “Places” and adds the icon to the main menu of the device. Places is used as a search tool for finding restaurants, hotels, attractions and other points of interest in your area. Google Maps for mobile 4.4 is available now for Android 1.6 and above for free. Search for Google Maps in the Android Market.
