10% of users take 90% of mobile data

The Telegraph out of the UK reported this week that just 10% of mobile phone users account for 90% of a network’s traffic consumption.  The study was conducted by Bytemobile, and suggests that even with the deployment of next generation networks, the carriers may have problems keeping pace with demand.  Bytemobile further suggests thatin 2011, 60% of a network’s traffic will now be video.
