Chinese phone vendor ZTE announced Wednesday they’d be bringing LTE smartphones and tablets to the US in 2012.  According to Fierce Wireless, the company will release a smartphone in the states in the first half of the year, with others by the end of the year.  They also plan to have both 3G and LTE tablets in the US, but would only specify they’d come this year.  No carrier partnerships were announced for the high speed smartphones.
