Foursquare apps updated for Android and iOS

Foursquare Wednesday updated its Android and iOS apps, adding new features and improving performance. The developer says menus and hours of nearby restaurants, and an enhanced explore function will make it easier to find nearby points of interest. Foursquare also added support for Android Beam on the Venue and Me pages for Android, letting users share information by simply tapping phones. The updates are available for free in the Android Market and iTunes App Store.
