US Justice Department set to approve Google/Motorola deal

The US Department of Justice is ready to approve the Google/Motorola deal according to the Wall Street Journal. The Journal reports that people familiar with the matter have said the DOJ will approve the deal, and it could happen as early as next week. The European Commission and Google’s shareholders have already approved the deal, which has Google acquiring Motorola Mobility for $12.5 billion.
