Google Tuesday released an update for Google+ for iOS. Along with bug fixes and UI enhancements, the app now features the ability to do instant uploads. However, this feature, only works when the Google+ application is open, and “for a brief period of time afterwards.” Your photos will not automatically be uploaded in the background like the Android app, though if you open Google+ from time to time, they’ll get uploaded without any other intervention.
Other additions include the ability to see +1’s on posts and the What’s Hot section has been added. The update is free and available in iTunes.
