Motorola announces expanded list and timeline for ICS upgrades

Motorola Wednesday announced a list of devices that would receive the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update. The manufacturer says the updates will happen sometime in the third quarter for the following devices:

Atrix 2
Atrix 4G
Photon 4G
Xyboards 8.2/10.1

Other devices in the “planning and evaluation phase” include:

Droid Bionic
RAZR
XOOM
DROID 4
Electrify
Admiral
Milestone
Pro+

All other Motorola devices will be relegated to Android 2.3 or lower.
