Orange and T-Mobile UK to launch LTE later this year

Everything Everywhere, also known as the former Orange and T-Mobile UK announced plans this week to launch a 4G LTE network later this year. Pending Ofcom approval, trials are expected on the 1800MHz bands in Bristol starting in April. Trials of LTE in the 800MHz band have occurred in the rural community of Cornwall. EE says it’s continuing its depley 21Mbps HSPA+ across its 3G network, with trials of 42Mbps due to begin soon.
