Yes, the 1X advanced network is live. However, there are very few (HTC Thunderbolt is the only one I know of) that support it.

Now are they meaning GSM support only or GSM and WCDMA?? Down here in NZ two carriers support GSM plus WCDMA and one WCDMA only..
