Hi Guys, there was a question on the podcast about the new T-Mobile plans and the financing of a new phone and what the ‘lock in’ is for T-Mobile.
We’ve read through the terms and conditions and it appears that with the financing option where you are paying off the phone on a monthly basis, you won’t be left with a financing plan to keep paying off if you leave T-Mobile. If you leave T-Mobile’s monthly plan for another carrier, then you need to pay out the remainder in full as the financing plan is only valid whilst you are T-Mobile customer.
